Special Occasions - Turo

Turo holds the title of the world's largest car-sharing marketplace. In this project, I created iterations, wireframes, and mockups, ultimately bringing this page to life within a CMS platform. Additionally, I made illustrations that harmonized with the page, meticulously aligning them with the branding guidelines.

Project Goals​​​​​​​

1. Showcase Use Cases: Create a landing page for Turo's Canadian market Illustrating how Turo can be seamlessly integrated into various life events, providing the perfect vehicle for every occasion.

2. SEO Optimization: Enhance Turo's online visibility by targeting specific keywords related to special occasions and car rentals.

Target Audience

Individuals seeking unique transportation solutions for special events.

People exploring alternatives to traditional car rental services.

Project Execution

The project involved creating wireframes and high-fidelity design mockups using Figma. The design process included iterations and feedback sessions to ensure the final product met Turo's objectives and resonated with the target audience. While the first wireframe iteration worked, the second iteration resulted in a more fluid and shorter landing page, improving user experience.

Design Approach

Dedicated Sections: Each section of the landing page was dedicated to a specific occasion, such as Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, birthdays, and anniversaries.

Captivating Imagery: The design incorporated captivating imagery, clear calls-to-action, and Canadian photography to provide a visually engaging experience for visitors.

Emotional Connection: Each image was carefully selected to reflect the essence of the respective occasion, providing an emotional connection and enhancing user engagement.

Illustrations

I designed illustrations aligned with the brand guidelines that complemented the page content using Adobe Illustrator. For the header, I chose to use Polaroid-style photos and for the footer, I created designs of trees and mountains inspired by the Canadian West Coast, which aligned with Turo's brand and the landing page theme. 

Results

User Engagement: The visually appealing and emotionally engaging design successfully captured the attention of the target audience.

SEO Optimization: The landing page enhanced Turo's online visibility by targeting specific keywords related to special occasions and car rentals.

Brand Awareness: The landing page effectively showcased Turo's versatility and reinforced its brand as a unique and flexible car rental solution.

This project exemplifies the power of combining user-centric design with strategic SEO optimization to achieve business goals and enhance user engagement. The Turo Special Occasions landing page is a testament to the effectiveness of thoughtful design and targeted marketing strategies in driving results.
